The nature of our business requires the acceptance, processing and safeguarding of our customer’s client’s personal information as a critical component of the service delivery we have been contracted to perform for that customer. As such, Market Connections has a formal Privacy Policy. We understand the importance of the protection of all data supplied to us by our customers and we maintain strict policies and procedures to ensure its protection.

Our Privacy Policy is compliant with the Canadian Federal Government’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and is based on the following key principles:

We have an assigned Privacy Officer who is responsible for ensuring our ongoing compliance with PIPEDA and our policies and procedures to ensure the protection of customer data supplied to us.

Data that we collect or receive from our customers is limited to the specific information required to provide the service that we have been contracted to and is only utilized to deliver the service. We never sell or provide our customer’s data to any other party and have policies and procedures in place to ensure the protection of all data supplied. All customer data is securely deleted upon conclusion of its business purpose and after the retention period has expired, or in accordance with the terms of our customer agreements.
